Etihad lifts flights to London

-

ABU DHABI, 8 October 2018: Etihad Airways will increase flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, from three to four daily to meet peak demand during the year-end festive season.

The additional flights will operate from 15 December to 13 January 2019.

Flights will use a two-class Boeing 787-9, featuring 28 business studios and 271 economy seats.

Etihad Airways United Kingdom and Ireland, general manager James Harrison said: “ This is a busy time for local guests travelling between both capitals and the extra service will allow more choice and flexibility in their travel.”

The additional services will also provide more connecting opportunities for passengers travelling between London and key destinations on Etihad’s global network.

Abu Dhabi – London schedule for additional peak period services:

EY13 Abu Dhabi 07:05 London Heathrow 11:00 Boeing 787-9

These services will operate in addition to Etihad Airways’ scheduled three daily Abu Dhabi to London services, which will continue to operate using a three-class Airbus A380 aircraft.

In addition to the seasonal increase to London, Etihad Airways has also announced seasonal frequency increases and aircraft upgrades on key routes to meet increased demand over the peak winter period.

This includes additional capacity to Bahrain, Belgrade, Cairo, Istanbul, Medina and Kuwait.
