Centara names head of business development

BANGKOK, 24 October 2018: Centara Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel operator home-based in Bangkok, announced the appointment of Andrew Langston as senior vice president business development

Leading the group’s development team, Langston will report to deputy CEO Markland Blaiklock.

A British national with over 34 years’ experience in hospitality management and development, Langston will be responsible to execute an ambitious five-year expansion plan.

He has held senior management positions with major hotel groups such as Banyan Tree and Intercontinental Hotels group.

Most recently he held the regional post of executive vice president, strategic advisory & asset management, at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels & Hospitality Group, based in Thailand.

He has worked in the hospitality industry in Singapore, Philippines, Korea, Macau, China, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Thailand and Australia.
