Vietjet cuts Japan fares to zero

SINGAPORE, 9 August 2018: Vietjet is offering almost free-travel to Japan during a three-day promotion for the country’s annual Autumn festival season.

The airline is giving away 200,000 zero* dollar fares. Passengers who book the fares pay just the tax and standard surcharges, or add-on services such as a bag allowance and meals.

The free tickets were launched 8 August with a booking window from 1300 to 1500 (Singapore time). The sales session repeats today, 9 August and again on 10 August.

Travel dates are 1 September 2018 to 31 March 2019 **.

As part of the “Vietjet visit Japan” initiative, the airline will launch its Hanoi – Osaka route 8 November and the Ho Chi Minh City – Osaka route 14 December.

The daily Ho Chi Minh City – Osaka flight will depart 0140 and arrive in Osaka at 0830. The return flight takes off at 0930 and lands in Ho Chi Minh City at 1330.

The daily Hanoi – Osaka (Japan) flight will depart from Hanoi at 0140 and arrive in Osaka at 0750 am. The return flight will depart at 0920 and arrive at Hanoi at 1305.

The promotion applies to all international routes from Vietnam to Osaka (Japan), Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea)/Hong Kong and, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan).
