MUMBAI, 22 August 2018: Jet Airways continues to provide additional flights to those affected by the heavy flooding in Kerala state, India.
The airline is also working closely with the state’s administration and several NGOs to support relief and rehabilitation efforts.
The airline said in a statement, Tuesday, that it has capped its economy fares on all its nonstop domestic flights to/ from its operating destinations in Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Kochi) as well as Mangalore.
It will continue to do so until 31 August. Jet Airways has also been operating additional flights on both domestic as well as international sectors.
Airlines in India have airlifted medicines and other relief material to Kerala and are facilitating the transfer of additional supplies in conjunction with several NGOs. On humanitarian grounds, Jet Airways has also waived all air freight charges on all domestic cargo shipments of relief material to Kerala.
However, due to the continued closure of the Cochin Airport, the following Jet Airways’ flights remain cancelled:
