BANGKOK, 10 August 2018: Dusit International has appointed two new general managers for properties in Vietnam and Bahrain.

Patrice Landrein has been named GM at the recently opened Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort, Phu Quoc, Vietnam; and Maher Abou-Tacca at dusitD2 City Centre, Bahrain due to open in 2019.

Landrein has worked in pre-opening and operational roles for hotel chains such as Amari, Concorde, and Plaza Athénée.

Prior to joining Dusit, Abou-Tacca was general manager of Dubai-based Metro Global Hospitality Group.

Robert Hauck

SINGAPORE: Louis T Collection Names Robert Hauck as its area vice president and general manager of The Galle Face Hotel, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

In this new role, Hauck will oversee the operations of the 156-room historic seafront property in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo, while supporting the group’s expansion in South Asia.

Hauck was most recently general manager of Kanuhura in the Maldives, an 80-villa resort that he took through a successful reopening and repositioning project after an 18-month renovation.

Somjai Tungkoo

PHUKET: Infinite Luxury has appointed Somjai Tungkoo general manager of Kata Rocks in Phuket, Thailand.

Somjai has more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. She began her career in Phuket at the Cape Panwa Hotel.

She joins Kata Rocks from her most recent posting as managing director overseeing three hotels under the La Flora brand in Khao Lak.
