Qatar green lights Gothenburg service

DOHA, Qatar, 25 July 2018: Qatar Airways will launch five weekly flights to Gothenburg, Sweden starting 12 December, making it the airline’s second Swedish gateway after Stockholm.

The new route to Sweden’s second largest city will use a Boeing 787-8 aircraft configured with 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy.

Qatar Airways launched flights to Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport in 2007.

The Stockholm-Doha route, which operates 14 flights per week, also uses a wide-body Dreamliner 787.

Qatar Airways currently serves the Nordic capital cities of Oslo, Norway; Copenhagen, Denmark; Stockholm, Sweden and Helsinki, Finland, to and from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA).
