BANGALORE 22 June, 2018: The 5th edition of Exotic Wedding Planning Conference held recently in Dubai, attracted 150 specialist wedding planners from 65 countries.
Hosted at the Palazzo Versace, Dubai the three-day extravaganza enabled wedding planners, venues and other travel industry content providers to connect, and collaborate.
On day one a panel discussion focused on tactics to handle price negotiations and how to overcome the challenge of low-grade competition. Top financial tips were also given to wedding planners for them to stay ahead of the competition. The day closed with a networking cocktail party and entertainment.
The second day’s highlight was a session on ‘Art of Sale and techniques’, focusing on revenue generating aspects of the wedding planning business.
Another session discussed unrealistic wedding day expectations and how to prepare the bride & groom. Social media can invoke unreasonable aspirations for the bride and groom that cannot be realised, especially when budget constraints arise.
An interactive team building session focused on the fact that millennials are seeking to explore exotic locations, worldwide, and they are ready to explore new customs and practices that could be included in the wedding experience.
