BANGKOK, 5 June 201: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract for a hotel in the coastal city of Sfax, Tunisia.
The Swiss hospitality firm signed the agreement with Société Touristique du Sud to manage the Plaza Sfax & Spa Hotel.
The property stands a short distance from the historic Medina and the largest convention centre, Sfax International Fair, just 10 km from Sfax-Thyna Airport.
The 89-key hotel will be reflagged a Mövenpick Hotel Sfax later this year, giving the Swiss hospitality firm its fourth property in Tunisia.
Mövenpick also operates the Mövenpick Hotel du Lac Tunis, which opened earlier this year, as well as Mövenpick Resort & Marine Spa Sousse and Mövenpick Hotel Gammarth Tunis.
