SEPANG, 7 June 2018: AirAsia is offering Balik Raya late night flights to accommodate travel demand during the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri holiday 14 to 15 June.
The airline offers a Fly back for a low-fixed fare of only MYR 99* for selected routes within peninsular Malaysia and MYR 149 from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching, available from 12 to 19 June 2018.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a holiday in Malaysia and Singapore to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat said: “Typically fares go up when there is increased demand. However, we wish to do our part to ensure Malaysians are able to go home to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with their loved ones.
“We are pleased to announce additional flights at low fixed fares for selected routes within Peninsular Malaysia and between Kuala Lumpur and Kuching”.
Last month, the airline added 43 extra flights from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Kuching for Hari Raya.
The special Balik Raya late night flights are applicable for new bookings only and are subject to availability.
Guests traveling during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri period are advised to arrive at the airport earlier to avoid congestion, and to use web check-in and mobile check-in services for maximum convenience. Web and mobile check-in services are available from 14 days before to 1 hour before the scheduled time of departure.
