SHANGHAI, 3 May, 2018: Sukhothai Shanghai is now open in Shanghai Jing’an business district.
The hotel is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Owned by Sukhothai Hotels & Resorts of HKR International, the Sukhothai Shanghai comprises of 170 rooms and 31 residence-style suites offering between 44 and 172 square-metres of space.
The hotel offers five dining venues and a ballroom, along with six multi-purpose function rooms, spanning 450 square metres.
In addition it offers health and wellness facilities including a 198-square-metre fitness studio, a 25-metre heated indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
“Having established The Sukhothai Bangkok as one of Asia’s most iconic properties with a loyal global following, we are excited to present the brand’s first property in Mainland China,” said Sukhothai Shanghai general manager Marcel Holman.
Sukhothai Shanghai forms an integral part of the HKRI Taikoo Hui mixed-use complex, which also includes Grade-A office towers and a premium lifestyle shopping mall, all located in the retail and tourist hotspot of West Nanjing Road and Shimen Yi Road.
