BANGKOK, 19 April 2018: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has opened a hotel on the banks of Lake Tunis in a prime area of the Tunisian capital.
Marking another milestone in the company’s North African expansion strategy, Mövenpick Hotel du Lac Tunis features 189 rooms and suites.
The property also offers a wellness and spa, four restaurants and banquet facilities for up to 700 guests.
Located in the city’s Berges du Lac business and diplomatic district, the hotel is a 10-minute drive from Tunis-Carthage airport and downtown Tunis.
The group named Nicolas Pezout as general manager.
Mövenpick Hotel du Lac Tunis is Mövenpick’s third property in Tunisia and its 23rd in Africa with five additional hotels set to open in the region by 2020.
