HONG KONG, 17 April 2018:  Norwegian adventure cruise company, Hurtigruten, has appointed Wendy Man as its Asia-Pacific regional sales and marketing manager for Hong Kong, South China and Southeast Asia.

She will be responsible for strengthening partnerships and facilitating brand and tactical marketing activities.

Hurtigruten said the appointment underscored its commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.

“Hong Kong, South China and emerging Southeast Asian source markets are key targets in our expanding business strategy across the region”, said Hurtigruten’s managing director APAC, Damian Perry.

In 2014, Man headed business development for Royal Caribbean Cruises shortly after the cruise line setup a Hong Kong office to support homeport sailings. She also worked for Costa Cruises.

Hurtigruten has been in the exploration cruise market for 125 years and is now the largest player in the polar regions with  a specialised fleet of 14 ships.
