Carnival names management changes

SINGAPORE, 9 April 2018: Carnival Corporation has announced changes related to specific business units and its operations in Asia.

Carnival Corporation appointed Anthony Kaufman as executive vice president, professional services and chief financial officer, for its four business units.

The units are Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn and Carnival Australia.

In his new role, Kaufman will reports to Stein Kruse, chief executive officer of the four business units.

Previously, Kaufman served as executive vice president, international operations for Carnival’s Princess Cruises, leading the line’s business operations in Asia, Australia, United Kingdom and Europe.

The group also announced that Deanna Austin, who has been with the company for 30 years, has been promoted to chief commercial officer for Princess Cruises.

In addition to her current accountability leading global deployment and revenue management, Austin assumes overall responsibility for the commercial management of the Princess Cruises brand in 12 international offices located in the UK, Australia, China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

She will also head international sales through Princess Cruises’ general sales agents around the world.  Austin will continue to report to Jan Swartz, group president, Princess Cruises and Carnival Australia.

Princess Cruises in Asia has promoted Stuart Allison to the post of senior vice president, Asia-Pacific planning and operations, reporting to Deanna Austin, chief commercial officer for Princess Cruises.

In this new role, his responsibilities expand to include Carnival’s operations China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Singapore business.

He was previously vice president of Princess Cruises’   Australia and New Zealand business based in Sydney where he will remain.
