TIN to fly hotel flag in Lhasa

-

SINGAPORE 21 March 2018: A brand new hotel under construction in Lhasa, Tibet, will fly the TIN Hotels International Group’s flag when it opens in 2020.

The Lhasa project will be a first for TIN Hotels, a joint venture between General Hotel Management Ltd and van de Bunt Partners.

GHM has four resorts, or hotels , under the brand Chedi, in India, Indonesia, Muscat, Oman and Andermatt, Switzerland.

TIN Hotels has made its breakthrough by inking a management agreement with China’s Tibet Da’ji Hotel Co. Ltd to manage the new property in Lhasa famed as the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

TIN Lhasa will be the anchor project in a nearly 29,000 square-metre six-storey mixed-use development, close to the main tourist attractions such as Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Square and Potala Palace.

Singapore-based General Hotel Management, a collection of luxury hotels and boutique resorts in Asia, the Middle East and Europe, partnered with van de Bunt Partners to launch Tin Hotels, a mid-market accommodation brand in August 2016.
