HONG KONG, 23 March 2018: Swiss-Belhotel has announced it has signed its first hotel in Italy, located between the historic cities of Verona and Venice.
Scheduled to welcome its first guests in 2020, Swiss-Belresort Evergreen Garden Village will be an exclusive adults-only resort located in Vedelago, in the northwest Italian region of Lombardy.
The site is a one hour drive from Verona a 50-minute drive from Venice.
Swiss-Belresort Evergreen Garden Village should open in 2020 with 156 spacious rooms and suites, with two restaurants, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a gym, tennis court and wellness centre.
The property will be Swiss-Belhotel International’s first property in west-Europe and is part of the Asian hotel group’s expansion strategy.
The developer, GEI Spa Company, plans four other resorts in Italy that will be ultimately managed by Swiss-Belhotel International.
