SINGAPORE, 16 March 2018: Amadeus announced the appointment of Cyril Tetaz, Thursday, as its executive vice president, airlines, Amadeus Asia Pacific effective April.
He will head the airlines business in Asia-Pacific a region that has delivered fastest-growing business opportunities for Amadeus over the past five years.
He takes over from Hazem Hussein, who moves to North America to head Amadeus’ hospitality division after five years in Asia-Pacific.
Amadeus top products for airlines are its passenger service systems , Altéa and New Skies, that processed ticketing and bookings for 503 million passengers in 2017 on airlines.
Tetaz will report directly to senior vice president airlines, Julia Sattel.
A 13 year-veteran of Amadeus, Tetaz has been an integral part of Hussein’s team and most recently head of commercial for airlines Asia-Pacific.
