Lanmei will fly to Bangkok

PHNOM PENH, 12 February 2018: Cambodia’s fledging Lanmei Airlines says it will inaugurate a service to Bangkok from Phnom Penh, the Cambodia capital, this March.

It will pitch for business on a route that packed with competitors including four Thai airlines – THAI, Thai Smile, Bangkok Airways and Thai AirAsia.

According to timetable information from Airlineroutes, Lanmei Airlines will start a daily Airbus A321 service, 7 March, departing Phnom Penh at 0755 and returning from Bangkok at 1005. Flight time is one hour and 15 minutes.

Based on a Skycanner search, Lanmei Airlines has set its lowest fare at THB2,962 for a one-way flight this April.

Lanmei Airlines, a Chinese-owned low-cost airline registered in Cambodia, commenced flights last September.

The cheapest fare is quoted by Thai AirAsia on the Bangkok-Phnom Penh route at THB2,292 one-way.

The highest fare is quoted by Bangkok Airways at THB6,487. The airline offers five flights daily.  THAI with just two flights daily quotes a one-way fare of THB5,691.
