Kuwait ups Bangkok flights

BANGKOK, 20 February 2018: Kuwait Airways intends to increase flights to Bangkok from daily to eight a week, effective 25 March.

The airline currently serves Bangkok with a single daily flight. The new timetable will add a second service on Tuesday

Using a Boeing 777-300ER an early morning flight will depart Kuwait at 0730 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Another flight will depart at 2315 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, the airline in a recent statement reported by the KUNA news service denied media reports that it was  launching new routes in summer 2018.

The airline posted on Twitter saying that it only posts reports about any new routes through its official media accounts. It urged social media users to be careful about reporting unconfirmed reports.

The airline operates 39 routes in Asia, Africa, Europe and North America.

However, KUNA quoted an airline source saying there are plans to establish new routes to Vienna, Austria, and Munich, Germany, in coming summer.

The airline is undergoing a restructuring which will include adding new aircraft.
