SINGAPORE, 2 February 2018 – Capella Bangkok has appointed John Blanco as its general manager.
Scheduled to open in the last quarter of this year, the property is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya.
When it opens Capella Bangkok will have 101 rooms, suites and villas.
A US citizen, Blanco has worked for Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and many independent hotels during a 25-year career in hospitality.
He will responsible for the opening of Capella Hotels and Resorts’ first property in Thailand. Located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River, Capella Bangkok is part of a up-scale Chao Phraya Estate development.
The property, owned by real estate developer, Country Group Development, awarded the management contract to Capella Hotel Group giving it a foothold in Bangkok’s highly competitive luxury hotel segment.
