HO CHI MINH CITY, 8 January 2018: Ho Chi Minh City hosts the 12th Taste of the World Festival, 11 to 14 January, an event that promotes Vietnam’s famous street food alongside food from around the world.
Now in its 12th edition Taste of the World festival aims to put Vietnam’s famous street food on the map to attract more international visitors.
The event is jointly hosted by the the city’s Department of Tourism and the Vietnam Tourism Association.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism the event draws participation from as far away as Denmark, Argentina and Italy.
The booths will be arranged into various zones, including featuring international dishes, Vietnamese restaurant cuisine, street food and a special corner for entertainment. Thailand is featuring its street food specialities at the event.
Last year, the event attracted 300,000 visitors.
