BANGKOK, 4 January 2018: Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract on a property in central Vietnam due to open during the last quarter of 2018.
Mövenpick Resort Lang Co will open on a beach 30 km from Danang, the central region’s aviation gateway.
The 148-room beach property will be the Swiss group’s second property in Vietnam with four other properties in the pipeline. 
The region’s top cultural attraction the UNESCO-listed port town is 60 km away from Lang Co and Hue, the former imperial city is 70 km north of the resort
The company currently manages the 144-key Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi.
Danang International Airport offers direct connections to and from many of Asia’s largest cities including Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Beijing, as well as domestic links across Vietnam.
The four properties in the pipeline should all be open by 2020. They will be located in Cam Ranh Bay, Phu Quoc island, Danang and Quang Binh.
