HONG KONG, 9 January 2018: Hong Kong Tourism Board will offer tailor-made “Good Fortune” reward offers, exclusively for Thai visitors from the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) market,.
Thailand’s incentive and meeting plans are the target as the city intensifies marketing activities to draw more MICE business from Southeast Asia.
Hong Kong is noted for its excellent feng shui, in which its geographical position, relative to mainland China, symbolises a place where things come to fruition. It is believed that good feng shui can attract prosperity and ward off bad luck, which propelled the Asia’s world city to become a leading international centre of prosperity.
As many Thai visitors show their interest in Feng Shui and enjoy visiting the popular and auspicious temples, the Hong Kong Tourism Board has initiated the “Good Fortune” campaign, tailor-made for Thai corporate groups to Hong Kong.
The offers include added value features for incentive group travellers. They include:
Free fortune telling tips by Feng Shui Expert with Thai translation (for groups of 50 or more);
Free Blessing Gift (for groups of 20 or more);
Calabash and coin charm to bring wealth and happiness to every delegate.
Hong Kong’s temples are positioned as active places of worship and the focal point of the city’s festivals. Visitors can adopt the Chinese tradition of making a wish for good fortune, health and business for family and company. Must-visit temples include Wong Tai Sin temple, Che Kung temple, and Big Buddha.
