Changi rail on early closing

SINGAPORE, 18 January 2018: Airlines serving Singapore are warning their passengers of temporary changes to MRT operating hours out of Changi Airport this month.

Due to maintenance works, Changi Airport station and all the  East-West Line stations, close early at 2300 Fridays and Saturdays for the remainder of the month.

The stations will open late on Saturdays and Sundays at 0800.

There will be a full closure of services to and from Changi 21 and 28 January.

The reduced operating hours came into effect 5 January.

Passengers travelling to and from Terminal 4, Changi Airport, can consider the following transport options:

Public Buses

During the affected period, passengers may continue travelling to and from Terminal 4, Changi Airport, via public buses, which operate as per normal. Direct buses to/from T4 are 24, 34, 36 and 110, while guests may board/alight bus services 27, 53 and 858 along Airport Boulevard.

Shuttle Services

Alternatively, travellers can also use the complementary 24-hour Airport Shuttle Bus service between T4 and T2 and then make their way to T3 (on foot or via skytrain) for two paid shuttle bus services departing from Terminal 3 Level 2, Departure Hall Door 8. Fares for paid shuttle bus services will follow the same fare structure as trains.
