SINGAPORE, 1 December 2017: Traveltek Group Ltd, which recently opened offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, unveiled its next-generation cruise booking platform to the Asian market at this week’s CruiseWorld Asia.
Traveltek CruiseNX offers travel and cruise specialists a raft of improved features that promise to drive productivity for travel agency users.
The next-generation platform, available for desktop and as a new B2C website, has been developed in partnership with some of Traveltek’s major clients in key markets worldwide.
“We are taking a major leap forward in helping the Asian travel industry drive more cruise sales via all distribution channels,” said Traveltek global sales director, Peter Whittle.
Asian cruise bookings have quadrupled between 2012 and 2016, growing from 775,000 to nearly 3.1 million passengers – a 41% compound annual growth rate, according to the 2017 Asia Cruise Trends report by Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
“With passenger set to jump by more than a million this year to an estimated 4.24 million and more than 2,086 cruises and voyages scheduled, up from 1,628 in 2016, the time is right for the Asian travel industry to jump on board this trend,” said Whittle.
