Pattaya boat show draws a crowd

PATTAYA, 1 December 2017: The sixth Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show welcomed 4,554 visitors during its four-days mid November.

Identified as the Gulf of Thailand’s premier marine event, hosted annually at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club, this year’s event delivered an extensive in-water display of global yacht brands as well as a full range of onshore exhibits.

At the close, the organisers confirmed the 7th Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show will be hosted 29 November to 2 December, 2018, at Ocean Marina Yacht Club.

One of the show’s highlight was the highly versatile jet-powered surfboard manufactured by JetSurf Thailand. There were also multiple in-water activities and Pop-up restaurants dotted along the the marina.

The annual networking cocktail party attracted  300 executives from the marine leisure sector an event that raised  THB40,000 for Disabled Sailing Thailand, a non profit organisation based in Pattaya who are building boats designed for disabled sailors.

“Exhibitors reported sales and serious leads with many buyers ,” said Ocean Marina Yacht Club harbour master, Scott Finsten, the organisers of the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat Show. “Visitors were engaged and interested in the boats, marine products and accessories, as well as the wide range of lifestyle products and services on display.”
