NokScoot beefs up China services

BANGKOK, 18 December 2017: NokScoot is planning more flights to destinations in China during the first quarter of 2018.

The additional services will cater to Chinese tour group demand  during the early part of the year.

The airline will add a fifth weekly flight to Qingdao and Shenyang both currently served with four weekly services from its base in Don Mueang Airport Bangkok.

The additional flight to Qingdao starts 4 January 2018, according to information posted by Airlineroute.

Flight XW886 will depart Bangkok at 1450  and arrive in Qingtao 2100. The airline is using a Boeing 777 on the route

The cheapest roundtrip fare on the route in January was a hefty THB21,295 for a flight duration of five hours and 10 minutes.

The Don Mueang – Shenyang service starts 2 February, 2018, increasing services from four to five a week using a Boeing 777.

The airline’s flight, XW878, will depart Don Mueang Airport at 0245 and arrive in Shenyang  at 0850.

It is more difficult to obtain a fare bargain to Shenyang with some of the lower fare options booked out solid in mid January. The best offer was THB31,875 for the five-hour and five-minute flight.

NokScoot serves six destinations in China from its DMK Bangkok base. They are:  Dalian; Nanjing, Qingdao, Shenyang, Tianjin and Xi’an.
