HONG KONG, 19 December 2017: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is setting out its sales counter with details of seasonal events year-round in 2018.
HKDL introduces the brand-new Disney Princess-themed offering in the park called Royal Princess Garden this month. Guests can enter the themed garden area that showcase encounters with Disney princesses.
Royal Princess Garden features the park’s first Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, a magical beauty salon where children are transformed into princesses complete with hairstyling, makeup and a Disney Princess costume of their choosing.

Chinese New Year, January to March
Special attractions through the early months of the Year of the Dog featuring Mickey Mouse’s playful companions, Pluto and Goofy, taking centre stage during the world’s most popular holiday.
Lucky guests may even receive a Disney-themed red packet, during Chinese New Year events, which run from January to March.
Disney Friends Springtime Carnival – March to May
The Disney Friends Springtime Carnival is a colourful one-of-a-kind event filled with more Disney characters, Guests enjoy whimsical character encounters and reconnect with long-time Disney friends in different ways. Guests can enjoy hunting for over 100 character-themed eggs hidden all around the park!
“Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” – Opening in May
In May 2018, the popular heroine Moana from Walt Disney Animation Studios is sailing straight to HKDL in an all-new stage show
“Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” is an 18-minute live experience recounting Moana’s adventures after she restores the heart of Te Fiti (the all-powerful goddess who creates life) and returns to her home village of Motunui.
Jam-packed with inspirational music, dancing, puppetry and storytelling, “Moana: A Homecoming Celebration” is the first attraction to be opened as part of HKDL’s multi-year expansion from 2018 to 2023.
Summer Event – June to August
In 2018, new Disney Pixar’s friends will join the summer event to make it more incredible than ever before. From June to August, 2018, guests will be able to meet Mr Incredible, Mrs Incredible and Frozone from the Disney Pixar’s film, The Incredibles, in an exciting, high-energy experience in Tomorrowland.
Disney Halloween Time – September to October
One of HKDL’s most popular seasonal events is the yearly Halloween bash. Next year’s fright-filled Halloween party will present guests with an enhanced event, featuring even more spooky fun during Disney Halloween Time from September to October in 2018. Join Jack Skellington and his crew of baddies, along with more Disney Villains that guests have yet to meet, as they turn the park upside down in true Halloween fashion!
A Disney Christmas – November 2018 to January 1, 2019
For guests seeking wintertime wonderment, HKDL is the ultimate choice for an unforgettable Christmas atmosphere in Hong Kong. Get into the holiday season at ‘A Disney Christmas.’ Join Mickey and friends at a joyous daytime show, listen as carolers sing Christmas tunes, experience the heart-warming tree-lighting ceremony and so much more!
New pricing for the travel trade community
Following the launch of Iron Man Experience — the first Marvel-themed ride at a Disney park — and the resort’s third hotel Disney Explorers Lodge earlier this year, the resort announced new admission ticket prices and various special offers for the travel trade industry that have taken effect from 15 December.
Under the new pricing, a one-day ticket for general admission (age 12–64) will be HKG619 and a child ticket (age 3–11) will be HKG458. The cost of a two-day ticket for general admission and child will be HKG799 and HKG589 respectively. For one-day and two-day senior admission tickets, pricing remain unchanged since 2011 at HKG100 and HKG170.
The resort is offering a two-month grace period for travel trade bookings at the old ticket prices from now until 15 February 15, 2018, with ticket validity up until the same date.
