China outbound on PATA counter

BANGKOK, 25 August 2017: Pacific Asia Travel Association is offering members access to a monthly China Outbound Tourism Price Index through its online store.

PATA members get to save USD900 for a report that has a USD5,999 price tag for 12 monthly editions.

Compiled by China expert, Ivy Alliance Tourism Consulting,  subscriptions are being sold to PATA members through the association’s online store.

Beijing-based Ivy Alliance Tourism is headed by XJ Wang who is managing director and CEO of the research firm.  It has been a member of PATA since 2006.

The China Outbound-Tourism Price Index (OPI) claims to be China’s first monthly monitoring system of Chinese outbound tour products and market price to global destinations.

It tracks price trends of Chinese outbound tourism and reporting the changes of consumer prices on Chinese outbound travel to worldwide destinations.

The report is compiled in partnership with Hua Tai Securities and China Association of Travel Services geared to providing DMOs and destination suppliers with intelligence on China outbound tourism market demand, changes of price and structure of outbound tourism products.
