Amour brings love event to Bangkok

BANGKOK, 20 July 2017: Amour Asia Pacific a specialised event that focuses on the romance travel market will be hosted in Bangkok next year, Worldwide Events confirmed Wednesday.

Designed for honeymoon curators, destination wedding planners and private travel designers the trade event, now in its second edition, will be held in Thailand 14 to 17 February.

The three-day programme will offer a mix of one-to-one meetings, networking activities, gala dinners and after parties, allowing buyers and suppliers to network.

Worldwide Events CEO Richard Barnes said: the inaugural Amour Forum in Venice earlier this year offered 4,000 appointments during its three days of networking.

For the second edition, Amour will limit the suppliers list to 100 of the most romantic hotels and destinations in Asia Pacific. The hosted buyer list is also capped at 100 of the world’s best travel designers, concierge & lifestyle management companies, destination wedding planners, honeymoon planners and romance travel specialists.

“We know that B2B events work better when there’s a smaller group, which is why we curate an exclusive guest list to create an intimate environment, with everyone staying in one property. It allows us to host fun, interactive events designed specifically to help build strong and lasting relationships with potential clients,” added Barnes.

Founded in 2004, Worldwide Events hosts a variety of MICE and leisure trade events around the world including Private MICE Forums, M&I Forums, M&I Network, Private Luxury Forums and Amour. Worldwide Events welcome over 1,500 suppliers and 3,000 fully hosted buyers to their Forums each and every year.

Amour was first launched in Venice earlier this year and will be hosted in Bangkok, Thailand focusing on Asia and Monte Carlo, Monaco, in early 2018.
