Jetstar Pacific launches China flight

HANOI, 22 May 2017: Jetstar Pacific is flying the Cam Ranh-Guiyang route giving the airline two destinations in China from the Cam Ranh airport gateway.

Jetstar Pacific started the new service, as a scheduled charter, last week, but once traffic is stable it intends operate it as a full-scheduled service.

Cam Ranh International Airport is the gateway to Vietnam’s popular beach resorts on Nha Trang bay.

The nonstop flight to Guiyang uses an Airbus 320 for three weekly services that depart CXR at 1700 on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The airline also operates a three weekly service from  Cam Ranh to Changsha service.

Cam Ranh is the second largest city in Khanh Hoa province after Nha Trang

The airport, located 30 km from Nha Trang, and was designated as an international airport in 2009 after a massive renovation to the facility that was originally built by the Americans during the Vietnam War. Last year it handled 4.8 million passengers.
