SINGAPORE, 30 March 2017: Luxury submarine trips for two are heading for the clear waters of Maldives later this year.
Ocean Group, a specialist promoting dive and water sports experiences, says it will offer submarine trips in the Maldives through partner DeepFlight Adventures.
The first ever three-man submarine (pilot plus two passengers) will be operated by DeepFlight Adventures later this year at a luxury resort in the Maldives, where the current underwater experience is limited to scuba and snorkel.
Designed to enable guests to experience an “underwater cruise”, the DeepFlight Super Falcon 3S “enables guests to glide alongside dolphins, turtles and skim over shipwrecks and coral reefs.”
DeepFlight Adventures managing director, Adam Wright, said: “We believe DeepFlight Adventures offers a great opportunity for hotels to differentiate their properties by offering their guests the ability to access the beautiful underwater world right from the resorts.”
Two passengers join the pilot of the DeepFlight Super Falcon 3S seated in comfortable individual cockpits, with 360-degree views through acrylic canopies and integrated video capture to allow guests to relive the experience post-flight.
The company’s promotions claim the piloted DeepFlight Super Falcon 3S submarine is “designed to the highest safety standards and is environmentally clean, quiet and efficient”.
DeepFlight Adventures’ submarine excursions will be launched at a resort in the Maldives during the fourth quarter of this year.
Ocean Group will announce the partnership with DeepFlight Adventures at ADEX Singapore, 7 to 9 April.
