SpiceJet flies to Bangkok

BANGKOK, 22 February 2017: SpiceJet, an Indian low-cost carrier, will launch a direct flight between Delhi and Bangkok effective 15 April.

According to the airline’s website, the Delhi-Bangkok route will be served by six weekly flights.

Flights will increase to daily, effective 9 May.

The concession applies from 1 March to 31 August this year. The current concession scheme is due to expire 28 February.

Under the scheme, citizens from 21 countries do not need to pay THB1,000 fee to process a visa at Thai embassies or consular offices.

The visa-on-arrival fee that was increased, 27 September, last year, to THB2,000, but has been reduced to THB1,000 for citizens of the 21 countries. The visa-on-arrival is valid for 15 days.inside-no-41
