Turkish cuts fares

PHUKET, 4 January 2017: Turkish Airlines is cutting fares for travel during July to September, this year.

The promotion sells a roundtrip fare, inclusive of taxes, fees and surcharges, ex-Phuket, at THB27,000 to 13 destinations in Europe.

The airline has suffered a drop in bookings following a spate of recent terrorist attacks that targeted places frequented by foreign visitors, the famous bazaar and airport.

Istanbul, Turkey - Jun 2012The deal applies for flights to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Milan, Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Madrid, Munich, Moscow, Rome, Oslo, Frankfurt and Berlin.

A higher fare of THB27,300 is on offer to Izmir, Ankara and Antalya.

Bookings are open until 15 February this year for travel during 17 July to 30 September, this year.

Minimum stay is three days or Sunday (Return must start after 1200 on the first Sunday).

Flights require a change of plane at Turkish Airlines’ hub at the country’s main airport in Istanbul.

Fares are subject to change due to fluctuations in exchange rates. The promotion saves up to 40%.
