TAIPEI, 6 January 2017: Marriott announced Thursday the opening of design-led Aloft Taipei Beitou Hotel, the second Aloft property in Taipei.
The 292-room hotel is just a short walk from the century-old Beitou hot springs on the outskirts of the capital.
Downtown Taipei is accessible via the Metro with the nearest station just a five-minute walk away.
“We are proud to debut Aloft Taipei Beitou, the second Aloft hotel in Taiwan, redefining the traditional hotel experience and strengthening the Aloft brand’s presence in the Taiwanese market,” said Marriott International chief executive officer greater China, Stephen Ho.
All rooms feature fast and free Wi-Fi, and a 43” LCD TVs linked to a Plug & Play connectivity panel.
Close-by attractions include the Beitou Thermal Valley, Beitou Hot Springs Museum and Sakura Tunnel, which transforms into a pink paradise with the arrival of cherry blossoms in mid-February.
Guests can shop and eat at Shihlin Night Market, or visit Beitou Library, an example of environmentally friendly architecture .
Aloft Taipei Beitou is 13 km from Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA) and 42 km from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (TPE).
The opening packages start at TWD3,600, which includes a one night stay, one complimentary cocktail per stay, double Starpoints for every eligible spending during the stay for SPG members, and late check-out until 1400. The opening package is effective until 31 March and subject to a 10% service charge and 5% tax.
