App covers Thailand’s airports

BANGKOK, 9 November 2016: Thailand’s Department of Airports has recently launched “Thai Flight Info” an App that provides information at 28 airports under its supervision.

Ministry of Transport deputy permanent secretary and Department of Airports acting director, Daroon Saengchai, said: “The app provides full details of flights and services at all airports under the DoA.”

In addition to airport information, it also covers land transportation from each airport, nearby attractions, news including real-time reports on daily flight information, schedule, arrival and departure for each airport. It does not track flights arriving or departing from its airports in real-time.

inside no 3 The App comes in two versions Thai and English, but most of the information is in Thai, which reduces its value for international visitors.

Passengers can download application via iOS and Android.

The department has 28 airports.

North: Nan, Pai, Phitsanulok, Lampang, Phetchabun, Phrae, Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang;

Northeast: Khon Kaen, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Roi Et, Sakon Nakhon, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani and Loei;

West: Tak, Mae Sot and Hua Hin;

South: Krabi, Chumphon, Trang, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Pattani, Ranong and Surat Thani.inside-no-31
