Thai hotels keen to tap Thainess

BANGKOK, 3 June 2015: Hotels and resorts hope to meet new buyers at the upcoming Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2015, 3 to 5 June.

Sareeraya Villas & Suites, Koh Samui general manager, Danny Daniel Chua, told TTR Weekly that the company has attended four TTMs.

“We will promote our boutique beach resort on Samui to tap overseas and Thai travel markets…the event will give more direct contact with overseas agents from UK, Europe and China as well as create international awareness for our hotel working with overseas travel agents.”

Diethelm adds local touch

BANGKOK, 3 June 2015: Diethelm Travel Group showcases its “Diethelm Distinctive” product line at Thailand Travel Mart Plus, 3 to 5 June.

The company regional marketing and communications manager, Siprang Srinarintranon, told TTR Weekly Diethelm Distinctive describes a new product that will be promoted at all business events this year.

“During February Diethelm Travel launched Diethelm Distinctive that adds personal knowledge and fulfilment to an Asian journey.”

Luang Prabang promotes at TTM

BANGKOK, 26 May 2015: Luang Prabang View Hotel will join this year’s Thailand Travel Mart, 3 to 5 June, for second time.

The hotel sales manager, Sengmany Chaila, told TTR Weekly it will promote its room sales and incentives that make use of its banquet and meeting space.

“We wan to cater to more MICE and incentives due to our capacity to host two or three events at the same time especially incentive groups from Southeast Asia.”

Hotels support Thainess at TTM

BANGKOK, 22 May 2015: Hotels will present their products supporting the Thainess theme at the Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2015 next month.

Samed Resorts Group’s sales & marketing director, Nattawadee Wuthisawas, told TTR Weekly that the group will promote seven properties at the event. They are: Paradee; Le Vimarn; Ao Prao Resort; Samed Club; Sai Kaew Beach Resort; Baan Ploy Sea; and Baan Supparod.

“We focus on overseas markets for 85% of our business and the Thai domestic market for 15%… we expect to gain new accounts at the show for Samed Resorts Group.”

TTM flags new travel experiences

BANGKOK, 15 May 2015: From biking tours by night to a home-stay experience in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ayutthaya, some of Thailand’s best emerging tourism destinations, products and services will be highlighted at the Thailand Travel Mart Plus Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion (TTM+) 3 to 5 June in Bangkok.

TTM+2015 will deliver a diverse range of options including many activities featured for the first time at the TTM, such as street food ours, a mask-making museum in Loei province, a monkey-training centre in Surat Thani province and a river-boat cruise to the Laotian former royal city of Luang Prabang, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Now in its 14th year, Thailand’s largest annual B2B travel trade event will be held at Impact Muang Thong Thani. It is considered the leading trade show for Thailand and the GMS countries of Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and China (Kunming province).

TTM pulls in first timers

BANGKOK, 12 March 2015: More first-time exhibitors are registering for the up-coming Thailand Travel Mart according to the latest update by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

The agency reported, Wednesday that 49 boutique hotels, health and wellness specialists, ecotourism operators and wedding management companies are amongst the first-time exhibitors that have registered for the Thailand Travel Mart Plus Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion (TTM+) due to be held 3 to 5 June in Bangkok.

The surge in participation by first-time exhibitors meets the primary objective of TTM to assist small and medium-sized enterprises get cost-effective marketing exposure in a highly competitive global travel trade market.

BANGKOK, 25 February 2015:Thainess is one of the four highlights that will take centre stage at the upcoming of Thailand Travel Mart Plus Amazing Gateway to the Greater Mekong Subregion (TTM+) 2015 held during 3 to 5 June at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani Convention and Exhibition Centre.

In line with the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s strategic marketing plan, the 14th edition of TTM+ focuses on the four major niche market segments – eco-tourism, health and wellness, weddings and honeymoons and Thainess experiences. They will be showcased in a dedicated pavilion.
