DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for Kamalaya’s sales & marketing department and team and will develop and implement Kamalaya’s sales & marketing strategies, action plans and projects.
Requirements
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, you have a strong background in leading sales & marketing teams and departments in the hospitality industry. You excel in developing fruitful and long lasting relationships with trade and business partners, as well as colleagues and guests. You have proven success in developing, planning, organizing and implementing projects and you possess the inspiration and leadership skills to develop, motivate, guide and focus your team and colleagues to achieve agreed objectives. You are a reliable team player, able to work in a multicultural environment, and you enjoy growing and learning from other traditions and innovative trends.
Experience and Qualifications
- Over 5 years sales & marketing management experience in an International hospitality business, preferably in Thailand or Asia.
- Outstanding people, leadership and project management skills.
- Experience and skills in wellness, web trade and web marketing are a bonus.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills with additional languages as a bonus.
Executive Sous-Chef/Executive Chef
Experience and Qualifications:
• At least 2 years experience as an Executive Sous-Chef or Executive Chef
• Excellent leadership, communication, training and coaching skills
• Ability to work in a multi cultural environment (Asian experience preferable)
• Knowledge in menu design, creative and open to new ideas
• Knowledge of wellness resorts and cuisines, raw foods and/or detox cuisine are an advantage
• Team player with good sense of humor, patience and even temper
• Excellent command of English
