Museflower hosts ‘Life Festival’

CHIANG RAI, 7 September 2018: Museflower Retreat & Spa will host its fourth annual Life Festival, 5 to 8 October, offering visitors more wellness workshops and classes than in previous years.

The privately run retreat and spa located on the outskirts of Chiang Rai town has gained recognition as one of North Thailand’s leading holistic wellness retreats after just four years in operation.

The annual Museflower Life Festival, focuses on wellness lifestyles, vegetarian diets, meditation and yoga while drawing wellness enthusiasts from around the region network.

The festival’s workshops offer fitness classes, health counselling sessions, alternative therapies, signature spa treatments and a guide to nutritious Asian vegetarian food.

“Museflower Life Festival allows everyone to come to discover different wellness modalities that they normally might not have access to, or learn about new alternative therapies, all at a very low cost.  It’s also a great opportunity to get together with like-minded people, socialise and learn,” says, Museflower Retreat & Spa’s founder and owner, Tania Ho, who is also the resident holistic practitioner.

The year’s festival programme offers classes and workshops on sound healing, breath-work, dance meditation, chanting meditation, heart integration, intuition, sound meditation, soul writing, plus yoga and Qi Gong private practitioner sessions.

Festival attendees can enjoy free welcome massage and free herbal steam sessions by the resort’s lake.

This year’s lineup features a new class, forest bathing, or shinrin-yoku, led by a certified nature and forest therapy guide. This class takes visitors slowly through nature, curated to awaken your senses and deepen the connection with yourself, nature and with others.

The event is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday, with an entrance fee of THB880 per person applicable for all activities from 1000 to 1700.  It includes a vegetarian lunch buffet picked fresh from the retreat’s on-site organic farm and egg farm.

Guests who want to join just a single class pay THB500 per 60-minute class and THB750 per 90-minute class.

A special retreat programme and rate is available for in-house guests who are staying at the resort for the entire Museflower Life Festival Retreat.

The annual event draws the local community plus international guests from Hong Kong, Singapore and the US with repeat guests have attended annually.

A discount festival package room rate is available for the full festival weekend programme, priced from THB16,970 (USD545) per person to THB19,050 (USD615) per person, depending on room type.

On Saturday and Sunday October 6 to 7, the festival is open to outside guests who can purchase a day-pass at THB880 per person.

Museflower Retreat & Spa is Chiang Rai’s first all-inclusive vegetarian holistic wellness retreat and a natural sanctuary for city people keen to escape urban lifestyles. Room rates include three vegetarian buffet meals per day and daily fitness classes.
