MH special fares in Southeast Asia

-

SINGAPORE, 22 August 2018: Malaysia Airlines is cutting fares on Asian routes from Singapore for bookings confirmed by 27 August.

Released this week by Juji, a popular travel site, the Malaysia Airlines offers are featured in the website’s email newsletters to registered users.

According to the latest email alert, the best deal is a Singapore-Penang roundtrip fare priced at SGD114.

A roundtrip fare to Langkawi, a holiday island in northern Malaysia, is also pegged at SGD1124

But there are other offers such as a roundtrip Singapore-Phuket fare starting at SGD159 and a Kuching roundtrip fare at SGD132.

Unfortunately for MH, Scoot undercuts the Phuket deal with a fare of SGD77 and Jetstar is not far behind with its SGD104 roundtrip deal. AirAsia sells at SGD117

For the trip to Kuching, capital of Sarawak state, Malaysia Airlines actually undercuts the SGD132 offer it gave Juji, by selling the same roundtrip on Skyscanner for SGD124.

A trip to Bangkok sells for SGD162, while the Manila roundtrip fare costs SGD195.

While bookings must be finalised and paid for by 27 August the travel period extends to 30 June 2019.

Outside of the Juji offers, Myanmar Airways International is offering a SGD229 roundtrip fare to Yangon. Sales are open until 30 September for travel up to 27 October.
