SINGAPORE, 23 August 2018: Vietjet is promoting three new routes to Japan  as part of a three-day, zero-dollar fares campaign that expires this Friday.

The airline is offering 2.5 million tickets at a zero-dollar base-fare.*

Tickets are up for grabs on 23 and 24 August between 1300 and 1500 Singapore local time.

Effective this November, Vietjet will fly the Hanoi-Osaka route, while in December it will introduce its Ho Chi Minh City-Osaka service. A Hanoi-Tokyo service will operate daily starting 11 January 2019.

The zero-dollar promotion applies to all Vietnam’s domestic routes and international routes from Vietnam to Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka (Japan), Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea), Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan), Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Yangon (Myanmar) and Siem Reap (Cambodia).

In addition to the zero-dollar fares the airline is offering in the Thai market cheap flights at THB269 one-way through a Facebook page promotion posted Wednesday.

Bookings also close Friday 24 August, but minus the restriction of a two-hour window reserved for the zero-dollar deals.

The travel period is 5 September through to 30 June 2019.

Bookings are open for flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket and Krabi. The deal is also available on flights between Phuket and Chiang Rai.

Regional deals are available on routes from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh Cirty, Hanoi, Haiphong and Dalat. From Chiang Mai and Phuket the fare is available on flights to Ho Chi Minh City.
