New A321 joins Bangkok Airways

BANGKOK, 10 July 2018: Bangkok Airways welcomed the arrival of its newest Airbus A321 at the Thai capital’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The airline is strengthening its network with an increase in frequencies and will add new services during the winter timetable due to start this October.

The new Airbus 319 can seat up to 144 passengers in single class configuration and be used on both domestic and international routes where passenger demand is strong.

The A319 will be deployed on routes to Chiang Mai, Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Myanmar (Yangon and Mandalay), Cambodia (Siem Reap and Phnom Penh) and India (Mumbai).

Currently, Bangkok Airways’ fleet consists of 39 aircraft; six ATR72-500s, 9 ATR72-600s, 15 A319s (four duo class) and nine A320s.
