Vietjet dishes out free fares

-

SINGAPORE, 8 June 2018: Vietjet says it has 400,000 airline tickets for international flights that it is off loading free.

The airline periodically drops a free tickets promotion into the competitive low-cost market, but usually the offers are snatched up within hours of the launch.

The booking window is seriously restricted with just an opening of two hours each day (1300 to 1500 Singapore time) to snatch the elusive zero fares.

They are not exactly zero fares. The lucky passengers still have to cover fees and taxes whatever is applicable on the route they book.

The fares are not applicable on national holidays in any of the destinations featured.

The current “Free up your summer with Vietjet” campaign, is described as a three-day promotion where 400,000 international tickets up for grabs for a zero fare.

The campaign started 7 June between the hours 1300 to 1500 (Singapore local time) and ends on 9 June for travel dates between 1 August to 31 December 2018.

The promotion applies to all international routes from Vietnam to Seoul, Busan, Daegu (South Korea), Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Taipei, Taichung, Tainan (Taiwan), Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Yangon (Myanmar), Phnom Penh, Siem Reap (Cambodia).
