Myanmar just for women

-

YANGON, 14 June 2018:  A one-off women only tour of Myanmar is being promoted by ICS Travel Group this December.

The tour is open to just 16 women and comes with a female tour guide.

Sales are concentrating on Australia and New Zealand, while the grounding arrangements are handled by ICS Travel Group, which has offices across Asia.

The signature excursion in the all-inclusive tour of Myanmar is a luxury cruise along the Ayerwaddy River from the ancient town of Bagan to Mandalay aboard the Anawrahta river cruise ship.

After arriving in Yangon the group visits the city’s popular tourists attractions including the imposing Shwedagon Pagoda.

In Amarapura, the group visits the 160-year-old U Bein Bridge – the world’s longest teakwood footbridge, followed by a glimpse of monastic life in Mahagandayon Monastery, that has more than 1,500 monks in residence.

At Inle Lake, the group experiences local life highlighted by an authentic Shan dinner cooked by a resident family and served in their lakeside home.

The package includes premium accommodation; most meals; all tours accompanied by a female, English-speaking guide; and a two-day cruise on Anawrahta by Heritage Line between Bagan and Mandalay.

ICS Travel Group specialise in tailor-made programmes to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
