Etihad to fly to Barcelona

-

ABU DHABI, 6 June 2018: Etihad Airways will launch a new service from Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE to Barcelona, Spain, effective 21 November.

The route will initially be served by five weekly flights using a two-class Airbus A330-200.

However, by 31 March 2019 it will be upgraded to a daily service.

Barcelona will become the second city in Spain served by Etihad Airways, following a service to Madrid.

Travellers from India, Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Korea and Australia will be able to conveniently connect  with the new Barcelona service at the airline’s hub in Abu Dhabi.

Barcelona has recently been ranked by the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) as the city which hosted the most international association meetings in the world in 2017, overtaking Paris, Berlin and Vienna to claim first place for the first time since 2004.
