Flyers shop for less

CHIANG RAI, 23 May 2018: Travellers can present their airline board passes to gain travel and shopping deals while visiting Chiang Rai and Phayao provinces in North Thailand.

Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Chiang Rai Office brokered the deal for passengers flying to the far north destination on Thai Airways International, Thai Smile, Thai AirAsia and Bangkok Airways (including some codeshare partners).

The boarding passes are accepted in over 50 participating stores and shops in Chiang Rai and Phayao provinces according to TAT’s Chiang Rai office.

The TAT office in Chiang Rai cover marketing and public relations in both Chiang Rai and Phayao provinces.

The latest campaign will encourage travellers to gain discounts at shopping outlets in the two provinces, 1 May to 30 September.
