CHIANG MAI, 8 May 2018: To mark the introduction of EVA Air’s daily service between Chiang Mai and Taipei, Taiwan, 1 July, the airline is offering promotional roundtrip fares valid for travel to 6 July.
The airline will serve the route with a 184-seat Airbus A321-200 configured with business and economy classes
The roundtrip deal in economy class is THB 7,320. The best fare in business class under the promotion is THB 16,535.
The new route will give Chiang Mai residents and visitors an opportunity to book one-stop travel to North America with a single change of plane in the airline’s Taipei home-base.
EVA’s flight from Chiang Mai to Taipei will offer passengers a convenient connection to flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto and New York.
The alternative for Chiang Mai residents is to fly to Bangkok to connect with flights to Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan, or Japan where they connect with flights to North America; a two-stop journey.
Due to its visa-free policy, Taipei is also a popular destination with Thai holiday makers, who mainly visit Taiwan for its heritage, food and shopping. It also gaining reputation as a destination for cycle tours, particularly along the island’s east coast.
