Sound Air taps Sabre agents

-

SINGAPORE, 20 April 2018; Travel agents, worldwide, using the Sabre global distribution system can now book flights on Sounds Air’s flights in New Zealand.

Under a long-term distribution agreement signed with the Blenheim based Sound Air, agents have access to all fares and schedules that the commuter airline offers between New Zealand’s north and south islands.

Sounds Air offers scheduled flights to nine destinations on the north and south island as part of the country’s, domestic air network.

It serves mainly domestic travellers, but the link to thousands of agents using the Sabre GDS should generate bookings from the international market.

“Sabre aims to support Sound Air by providing access to our innovative tools, including Advance Connect and Guaranteed Ticketing,” said Sabre Travel Network, Asia-Pacific vice president airline business, Rakesh Narayanan.
