BANGKOK, 19 April 2018: Swiss-Belhotel International has appointed Mark Simmons as its new senior regional director of sales for Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
An Australian national, Simmons has spent the last 30 years working in numerous four and five-star hotels and resorts across the Asia-Pacific region.
He has worked in Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore and for a spell was SilverNeedle Hospitality’s vice president of sales & marketing.
More recently he headed Outrigger Resorts sales and marketing in the Asia-Pacific region, before joining Karma Resorts as global group director and marketing consultant.
Swiss-Belhotel International has 60 hotels now operating across Southeast Asia and one of the largest portfolios of any hotel group in Indonesia.
