SilkAir starts Guilin charter

SINGAPORE, 19 April 2018: SilkAir launched a new service between Singapore and Guilin in China, 14 April, exclusively for tour package sales.

According to timetable information from Airlineroute, the airline serves the route with a single weekly flight on a Saturday using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The inaugural flight took place, 14 April, booked out with tour groups pre sold by local travel agents in Singapore.

Flight MI 910 departs Singapore at 1010 and arrives in Guilin at 1430 local time. The return flight departs Guilin at 1535 arriving back in Singapore at 1945.

The airline’s sale office confirmed seats on the single weekly service are pre-sold to travel agents promoting inclusive Guilin holiday packages. There are no sales on the airline’s website.

Silk Air has a healthy business partnership with travel firms in Singapore selling tour packages that include airfare, hotel accommodation, transfers and sightseeing.

Late last year, the airline offered acharter series to Guilin with tour package prices ranging from SGD900 to 1,000.
