Ibis Styles set for Siem Reap opening

-

SIEM REAP, 20 April 2018: Ibis Styles Siem Reap will open this May at a location close to the town’s old market, night market and pub street.

Leading the management team at the 112-room property is general manager Marc Dupuis.

The opening marks the group’s first Ibis Styles branded hotel in Cambodia fitting neatly in the budget rate category.

In its press release the hotel group says the opening will give Cambodia an Accor brand in every price sector of the group’s broad spread from economy through to luxury.

But the May opening is not clearly confirmed on the Accorhotels’s website.  A check of the Ibis Styles’ page shows a message claiming the property is opening in April, but the booking page is blank and with no available rates posted.

The earliest booking opportunity pops up, 12 July, with a rate of USD 49.94  including a USD 8.34 tax, including breakfast.  That suggests a commercial opening much later than the advertised May target.

A check of the popular booking site, Agoda.com, goes to a page with photos of the property but no available rates or booking options.
